Neshlaup TKS 2026 will be held on Saturday 9th of May. The race will start at 11:00 at Seltjarnarnes Swimming Pool. Trimmklúbbur Seltjarnarnes (TKS), holds this annual event for the 38th time.
Distances
You can choose between three distances:
- 3.25 km fun run
- 7.5 km one circle around Seltjarnarnes
- 15 km two circles around Seltjarnarnes

Participation fee
- 2,900 kr. for adults (born 2010 and earlier)
- 3,600 kr. for adults after pre-registration ends (race day)
- Free for children born 2011 or later, based on primary school age
Running route
The start and finish are by Seltjarnarnes Swimming Pool in all distances. In the longer distances, the race along the walking / cycling path is around the headland. From Suðurströnd along Bakkagrandi, past a golf course in Suðurnes, with Kotagrandi to Snoppa, then Norðurströnd home to the end by a swimming pool. In the 3.25 km race, the race is along Suðurströnd and turns into Lindarbraut and Norðurstönd back until you turn towards the swimming pool again.

The race is a family-friendly event where everyone can find a suitable distance. There is a drinking station by the golf course in the longer running routes. Participation prize and refreshment after the race. Numerous exciting raffle prizes.
